Community Rugby

The Illawarra District Rugby Union club competition, comprises 13 clubs across an expansive, and geographically diverse zone.

Our long running competition, welcomes all members of the community to join teams across junior, senior and women's competitions.

Saturday afternoons from April to September see the Illawarra's premiere senior code get under way. Clubs fire up their BBQ's, volunteers man the canteens, and supporters flock to clubs along the coast to support their teams in what is always exciting, and impressive competition.

Sunday mornings each winter, bring family and friends out, to rally behind their young ones in friendly, though solid competition. Warmed by a coffee and bacon and egg roll made by club volunteers, supporters gather to cheer their children on, and to watch volunteer coaches across the district help our young rugby players of the future, learn the rules, and importantly learn the art of good sportsmanship.

All of our clubs attract loyal support from the community and local business, as a result of the exciting talent and great sportsmanship on display each and every week throughout the season, and we pass our thanks on to all of those sponsors, whose support helps to keep our clubs running.

Please check our Clubs page, to find your local club. They'd love to hear from you!

If you're after more information, please contact your local club, or you can get in contact with the district by emailing secretary@idru.com.au.

Hi there and joyful Tuesday. The San Francisco Giants year begins within exactly about a 7 days, with a highway match versus the Seattle Mariners. Until the Giants make a decision in the direction of forfeit https://www.sffanstoreonline.com/Bill_Madlock_Pillow_Cover-222, they will include a starting up pitcher for that recreation.Who will it be? Inevitably it doesn subject at all. An Opening Working day beginner is purely symbolic, as the No. 1 and No. 2 starters really should https://www.sffanstoreonline.com/Rod_Beck_T_shirt-27, in just basic principle, pitch the identical quantity of online games.Still symbolism is nonetheless significant, and the Giants consist of a 2-horse race for the Opening Working day nod: Kevin Gausman https://www.sffanstoreonline.com/Mike_Yastrzemski_Hoodie-163, and Johnny Cueto.Gausman appeared the distinct chief, provided that he was dramatically far better than Cueto within 2020. However then he struggled a little bit through Sunday match, even though Cueto experienced a powerful simulated overall performance.5-inning sim sport for Johnny Cueto is in just the textbooks. He threw close to 80 pitches and seems toward be created up rather properly for the starting off of the time Kevin Castro Flag. Didn provide up considerably loud speak to, finished the working day with a strikeout. Cueto and Giants coaches appeared content with the manufacturing.Kerry Crowley March 22, 2021Gausman yes initiatives toward be the superior pitcher this yr, nonetheless Cueto incorporates that prior ace sheen Darin Ruf Face Mask, and consists of intended additional towards the small business hence significantly. As wee noticed inside of the very last, once in a while that more than enough.Consequently who gets to be the start out?
