Senior Club Rugby
Senior Club Rugby is an amateur competition open to players over the age of 18.
Though clubs are spread across an expansive geographic area, the vast majority of games are within the local Illawarra area. Players are required to make their own way to Saturday afternoon competition at the designated ground, according to the draw. Occasionally clubs may partially or wholly subsidise travel by organising a team bus, if a game is a particularly long way away. This is a decision made by clubs only.
Saturday afternoon games are always well supported by club members, sponsors and fans, with crowds lining the playing fields to support the friendly, though fierce competition.
Club volunteers always look after their guests, firing up BBQ's and manning the club canteens for the afternoon competition.
